62 HCU (~25 SRM)
Bitterness: 18 IBU
OG: 1.044 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 4.1% v/v (3.2% w/w)
Water: I used Ph 5.2 instead of gypsum for water treatment but either will work.
Grain: 7 lb. American 2-row
8 oz. American crystal 90L
4 oz. British chocolate
4 oz. British black patent
Mash: 75% efficiency
Standard mash at 152 deg F and then batch sparged to get just over 6 gallons for the boil
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.036 6 gallons
I used irish moss in the last 10 minutes of the boil.
Hops: .5 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Perle (8% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1318, London Ale
Carbonation: Force carbonate in keg at 30 psi for 1 week and then lower pressure to 5 psi and serve
