Short Round (Mild) goes with Full Magazine Ginger Beer for a great shandy!!!

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 1.375 gallons
Color:
34 HCU (~17 SRM)
Bitterness: 12 IBU
OG: 1.029 FG: 1.006
Alcohol: 3.0% v/v (2.4% w/w)
Grain: 3 oz. American crystal 20L
1 oz. British chocolate
Steep: Grain bag, hold grains at 150°-160° for 30 minutes.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.040 1 gallons
1 lb. Amber malt extract
Hops: 4g Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
2g Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Fourth generation (repitched from earlier batches) Wyeast 1028.
Carbonation: 1.5 volumes Corn Sugar: 12.7g for 1.25 gallons @ 70°F
Tasting: Next time, I'll use light malt extract...all the supplier had was amber.
