Brewed in Italy, because you just can't find hoppy beer here.

Beer: IPA NUMBER 10 Style: India Pale Ale
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
24 HCU (~13 SRM)
Bitterness: 51 IBU
OG: 1.064 FG: 1.011
Alcohol: 6.9% v/v (5.4% w/w)
Water: 1 tsp gypsum and 1/8 tsp NaCl
Grain: 7 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
7 oz. British crystal 50-60L
Steep: 145-150° for 30 minutes
Boil: 80 minutes SG 1.118 3 gallons
6.5 lb. Amber malt extract
2.0 lb. Light dry malt extract
5 oz. Wheat extract
1 tsp Irish Moss at t=15minutes
Hops: 4 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (3.3% AA, 80 min.)
2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: Combined Wyeast 1098 & 1028
Log: Yield was 17-1/2 liters in various sized bottles
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar
Tasting: Instantaneous floral hop nose.
First sip is balanced sweet toasted malt with bitter hops,
and then a looooooooong hop finish. Very satisfying.
The least Italian flavor known to man. The ultimate
compliment came from a German friend. "Das ist gut!"
