Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
20 HCU (~12 SRM)
Bitterness: 32 IBU
OG: 1.062 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 5.9% v/v (4.6% w/w)
Water: Pennsylvania Spring Water.
Grain: 1 lb. British pale
4 oz. American crystal 20L
11 oz. American crystal 40L
6 oz. American crystal 60L
6 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Put all grains in a steeping bag. Brought temp up to 155° & steeped for 45 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.051 6 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
1/4 oz. Irish Moss Powder at 20 minutes left in boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: 1 vial White Labs English Ale Yeast (#WLP002)
Carbonation: 5 oz. Corn Sugar at bottling time.
