This is a slightly modified version of a mild ale I made this past February, which turned out fabulously.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 4.5 gallons
Color:
24 HCU (~13 SRM)
Bitterness: 24 IBU
OG: 1.035 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 3.2% v/v (2.5% w/w)
Water: 2 gallons well water, steep/boil
3 gallons spring water, chilled
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 90L
Steep: Steep 50 minutes @ 157°F.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.079 2 gallons
3.2 lb. Extra-Light DME, Cooper's
Hops: 1.5 oz. Fuggles (4.4% AA, 75 min.)
0.125 oz. Fuggles (4.4% AA, 20 min.)
0.125 oz. Fuggles (4.4% AA, 10 min.)
0.25 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
Yeast: WLP005 British Ale, or Wyeast 1099 Whitbread Ale
Log: Bottle within two weeks; use 0.67 cup corn sugar to batch-prime.
