8 oz. Flaked wheat
Mash: 60% efficiency
Mash grains at 155f for 60 minutes. sparge with 2.5 qts 170f water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.131 3 gallons
7 lb. Light malt extract
2 lb. Amber dry malt extract
1/2 tsp Irish moss (60 min)
1/2 tsp Irish moss (15 min)
Hops: 2 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
1.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
.5 oz. Chinook (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1272 in a 2 qt. starter of 3/4 lb. light DME
Log: 1 week in primary, 2 weeks in secondary with 1 oz cascades and 1/2 oz chinook in hop bag.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes
Prime with 7 oz light DME
