This is an inexpensive American Ale that can be made with easy quantities.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
13 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 22 IBU
OG: 1.050 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.2% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Water: I live in Chippewa Falls WI....I have the best Beer water in the world on tap.
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 60L
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.083 3 gallons
6 lb. Light malt extract
8 oz. Cane sugar
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: I plan on using Wyeast 1272 American Ale II.
Carbonation: I'll probably prime with organic cane.
