pale ale

This is a nice Hoppy summer ale.

Type: Extract Size: 5 gallons
Color:
8 HCU (~6 SRM)
Bitterness: 36 IBU
OG: 1.054 FG: -

Water: I filter my brew water through a 2 stage house hold filteration
system. The first stage is for sediment removal and the second is a
5 micron filter to remove most impurities. Beyond that I don't do
anything else to my water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.135 2 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
I use 1/2 teaspoon Irish moss @ last 15 min. of the boil for clarity.
Hops: 2 oz. Cascade (4% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cluster (7% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (4.8% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (4.8% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: I used danstar Windsor dry yeast instead my usual Edme dry yeast. I don't
have much luck with Wyeast.
Carbonation: This is going into the keg.
