Amarillo By Morning

Just something I'm messin aroung with because I like the taste of
Amarillos. Haven't brewed this yet but this is the plan. I think
I'll do this in about a month.

Beer: Amarillo By Morning Style: American Pale Ale
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.25 gallons
Color:
14 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 44 IBU
OG: 1.054 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 5.9% v/v (4.7% w/w)
Water: add 1 tsp gypsum
Grain: 8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
8 oz. American crystal 60L
Steep: Steep specialty grains in 154 deg. water for 45 min.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.045 6.25 gallons
3.3 lb. Light malt extract
3.3 lb. Light dry malt extract
Rehydrate Irish Moss when you start the boil and Add it to the boil at 20min remaining
Hops: 1.0 oz. Amarillo (7.1% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Amarillo (7.1% AA, 20 min.)
1.0 oz. Amarillo (7.1% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: White Labs - California Ale V - WLP051
Carbonation: Prime with 3/4 cup corn sugar and bottle condition or keg and force carbinate to 2.5 - 2.75
