Type: Partial mash Size: 5 gallons
Color:
9 HCU (~7 SRM)
Bitterness: 86 IBU
OG: 1.065 FG: 1.009
Alcohol: 7.2% v/v (5.7% w/w)
Water: 2 Tbsp. Gypsum
Grain: 2 lb. American 2-row
Mash: 75% efficiency
Single infusion mash 152F for 60 min or until converted.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.081 4 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 tbsp. Irish Moss at end of boil.
Hops: 2 oz. Bullion (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Perle (8% AA, 30 min.)
2 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: Build 1L starter using Wyeast 1056.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Keg: 17.6 psi @ 50°F
Force carbonate @ 45lbs. for 1 hour.
Tasting: Floral nose and fruity flavors. Good balance of malt and hops.
Nice clean finish.
