Bitterness: 31 IBU
OG: 1.035 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 3.2% v/v (2.5% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. German Munich
.50 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 lb. Belgian CaraMunich
Steep: Steep specialty grains at 150° for 45 minutes and sparge with water at 170° .
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.096 2 gallons
4 lb. Alexander's Light malt extract
4 lb. Munton's Dried X-tra Light Extract
Add Irish Moss at 45 minutes until boil is finished.
Hops: 1 oz. Perle (8% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Perle (8% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: Whtie Labs WLP011 English Ale Yeast
Log: Brew date 08/22/02. Let ferment at 72° -74° for 1 week and rack to secondary and let ferment for another 3 weeks in glass.
Carbonation: Prime with 5oz. corn sugar
