Spring Time Jasmine IPA

Easy spring time IPA with a light jasmine influence to enhance the spring time delight here in the Northwest.

Type: All grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
7 HCU (~6 SRM)
Bitterness: 58 IBU
OG: 1.066 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 7.0% v/v (5.5% w/w)
Water: Tacoma water: nothing added, nothing needed
Grain: 11 lb. American 2-row
.5 lb. American Munich
.25 lb. American crystal 40L
.25 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 75% efficiency
Infusion mash, water preheated to 170 to settle in at 155 once the grain has been added. Mash out to 165 before the sparge.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.055 6 gallons
Jasmine added: 1 oz added with 10 minutes left in the boil, and .5 oz added with the Amarillo hops.
Hops: 2 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
1.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 2 min.)
.5 oz. Amarillo (aroma)
Yeast: Recaptured London Ale Yeast (from starter)
