1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
8 oz. Flaked barley
Mash: 68% efficiency
Mash in @ 150 for 60 min. sparge with 170
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.060 7.0 gallons
1 lb. Corn sugar
Irish moss @ 15 min. to go in the boil
Hops: .75 oz. Chinook (11% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Columbus (14.5% AA, 60 min.)
.50 oz. Chinook (11% AA, 30 min.)
.50 oz. Chinook (11% AA, 15 min.)
.50 oz. Chinook (11% AA, 1 min.)
.5 oz. Columbus (14.5% AA, 1 min.)

Yeast: WLP051 California Ale V Yeast
From Northern California. This strain is more fruity than WLP001, and slightly more flocculent. Attenuation is lower, resulting in a fuller bodied beer than with WLP001.

Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 66-70°F
Alcohol Tolerance: Medium-High
Log: rack to secondary and dry hop for two weeks
Carbonation: Keg & force carbonate
