Hop Harvest Ale

This is an all-cascade, single-malt pale ale. I'll use my own harvested cascades cones and suplement them with store-bought whole hops. The grain bill is 100% base malt. I hope to brew this annually.

Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
5 HCU (~4 SRM)
Bitterness: 46 IBU
OG: 1.062 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 6.2% v/v (4.9% w/w)
Water: Five-Star 5.2 in the mash water and campden tablets in all water to remove chlorine and chlorimine.
Grain: 14 lb. 2-row
Mash: 66% efficiency
Single infusion mash @ 150F for 60 minutes. Raise to 170F for 10 minute mashout. Sparge with 175F treated water until 6.5 gallons is collected.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.053 6.5 gallons
Irish moss near the end.

The 2-oz aroma addition is actually dry-hopping in th ekeg.
Hops: 2 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
2 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: 2 packs of Danstar Nottingham.
Log: 2 boil-overs... good thing I was outside. Finished with about 4.5 gallons. Fermented hot (75F) for the first 12 hours or so.
