IPA V

Tried this one for the first time about a month ago. I adapted it from an award winning,all grain, IPA recipe. It turned out tasting more like a Best Bitter, but it's goooood.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
15 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 45 IBU
OG: 1.057 FG: 1.011
Alcohol: 6.0% v/v (4.7% w/w)
Grain: .66 lb. British Carastan
Boil: 65 minutes SG 1.048 6 gallons
6.5 lb. Light malt extract
1 lb. Brown sugar
Irish Moss last 15 Minutes
Hops: .88 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
.88 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)
.88 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056
Carbonation: Forced in keg
Tasting: Sharp hop taste like a best bitter. Fuggles come through to round out the sharpness.
