Alcohol: 5.3% v/v (4.2% w/w)
Water: 100% PURE ROCHESTER TAP!!
Grain: .5 lb. Wheat malt
.5 lb. Belgian aromatic
1 lb. Belgian biscuit
2 lb. American crystal 20L
Steep: Partial mash of all grains @ 150*F for 30 min, then raised to 168*F for an additional 30 min.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.149 2 gallons
5.28 lb. Amber malt extract
1 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 tsp. Irish Moss @ 15 min prior to end of boil
Hops: 1 oz. Colombus (15% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Colombus (15% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Simco (aroma)
Yeast: White Labs Burton Ale Pitchable Yeast #WLP023
Log: brewed: 11.30.02; fermented @ 70*F for 8 days
Carbonation: 6oz pure cane sugar
