Grain: 8 oz. Belgian CaraVienne
Steep: Steep grain at 150° for 30 min. Rinse and discard.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.128 2.5 gallons
6 lb. Amber malt extract
2 lb. Light dry malt extract
Add Irish Moss at 45 minutes.
Hops: 2 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: White Labs WLP007 Dry English Ale for the extra sugar in the beer.
