Yeast Starter Base

This small mash and short boil produce ten pints of strong wort (1.150). The wort is then canned until a yeast starter is needed. The wort is diluted at a ratio of one part starter to two parts sterile water, thus preparing a three pint, 1.050 starter.

Hops: .75 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
