Palesner

This beer is made from a blend of Marris Otter Pale and Pilsner malts.
The hops used are my favorites and provide a a bold start and spicy finish.

6 HCU (~5 SRM)
Bitterness: 43 IBU
OG: 1.052 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 5.2% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Water: 1 tsp gypsum
Grain: 9 lb. British pale
8 lb. German Pilsner
1 lb. German Munich
1 lb. American victory
1 lb. Flaked wheat
Mash: 83% efficiency
Mashed at 151 degrees for 90 minutes.
Boil: 70 minutes SG 1.045 14 gallons
Irsh Moss at 15 min.
Hops: 1.5 oz. Columbus (14.1% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6.1% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (6.1% AA, 30 min.)
.25 oz. Columbus (14.1% AA, 30 min.)
2 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1027.
Log: Fermented one week and keg.
Carbonation: 2.3 volumes Keg: 7.7 psi @ 35°F
