Summer Apple Beer

A real light drinkable summer beverage with a good kick!

Beer: Summer Apple Beer Style: Specialty Beer
Type: Extract Size: 5 gallons
Color:
3 HCU (~3 SRM)
Bitterness: 0 IBU
OG: 1.050 FG: 1.005
Alcohol: 5.8% v/v (4.6% w/w)
Water: Standard tap water.
Boil: minutes SG 1.063 4 gallons
2.02 lb. Light dry malt extract
2.02 lb. Corn sugar
2.02 lb. Honey
You can use a little irish moss if desired, and you will need to add water to the fermenter.
Hops: !!!dry oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: EDME ale yeast just warmed in a pan of water.
Log: Add 6 can of apple juice concentrate and 1oz. of cascade hops to secondary fermenter.
Carbonation: I keg this brew due to excess of sugars and a fear of bottles exploding.
