Quale?

This was supposed to be a reworking of my Eadhran Ale recipe, except
lighter in color, and with a bit of a spiciness to it...Quale is qua? (what?)
and ale...."what is this ale?????"

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 1.375 gallons
Color:
11 HCU (~8 SRM)
Bitterness: 15 IBU
OG: 1.050 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.2% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Grain: 3.2 oz. American crystal 40L
Steep: 45 minutes in a grain bag at 150°F-160°F.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.069 1 gallons
.92 lb. Ultra Light dry malt extract
7.1 oz. /200g Light dry malt extract
1.76 oz. /50g Starter (Light DME in 1 pt, pt figured into final vol. calc)
Pinch of Irish Moss during last 15 minutes.
Hops: 4g Kent Goldings (6% AA, 60 min.)
5g Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
7g Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1338 Euroean Ale, starter as noted in boil section.
Log: Brewed: 1/26/00
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Corn Sugar: 31.7g for 1.25 gallons @ 70°F
Tasting: Next time, Chinook dry hopping.
