Bitterness: 33 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 5.9% v/v (4.7% w/w)
Water: 1.25 tsp. of gypsum added after grains steeped.
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 20L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
8 oz. British black patent
8 oz. Roasted barley
Steep: Add all grains in a grain bag and steep until water reached the boil
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.147 2 gallons
3.3 lb. Dark malt extract
3 lb. Dark dry malt extract
8 oz. of Hershey's brand cocoa was added 30 minutes into the boil
3 lbs. of frozen red raspberries were added and allowed to steep for 15 minutes before being added to the fermenter.
Hops: 1 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast Special London
