Water: I used good ole "East Bay Mud" Water. If you are from the bay area you know this is great treated water. I wouldn't spend money on water for this brew unless I lived in Concord or Pittsburg. LOL
Grain: 1 lb. German Munich
1 lb. American crystal 120L
2 oz. Roasted barley
Steep: I steeped the grains all in one bag before putting in the extract/sugars.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.082 3 gallons
3 lb. Dark dry malt extract
1 lb. Brown sugar
1 lb. Corn sugar
Irish moss last 10 minutes
Hops: 1.5 oz. Northern Brewer (9.6% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Liberty (5.3% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: I rehydrated ythe coopers brewers yeast about 15 minutes before pitching it.
Carbonation: I will be using 3/4 c of corn sugar
Tasting: I will be adding some blueberry concentrate before adding the sugar for racking. This should be interesting.
