Red Spud

All Grain batch, to experiment with potato use..will use red new potatos, boil
with peelings on, slightly mashed before adding to mash. Will be a single
infustion mash.

Water: In New Orleans, we need to add 1 tsp lactic acid per 5 gallon water.
Grain: 15 lb. American 2-row
2.5 lb. American 6-row
2.5 lb. American crystal 10L
5 lb. Potato
Mash: 80% efficiency
Single infusion mash for 10 gallon batch. Strike water about about 170 or so,
for mashing at about 152.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.068 11 gallons
Hops: 1 oz. Perle (8% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Styrian Goldings (5.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: White Labs California Ale Yeast
Log: May dry hop with some pellets...
