After several years of brewwing we are going to try to produce a standardized recipe We brewed this several times and enjoyed all of it.

Type: Partial mash Size: 10 gallons
Color:
47 HCU (~21 SRM)
Bitterness: 31 IBU
OG: 1.055 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.8% v/v (4.6% w/w)
Water: Fresh clear hose water
Grain: 1 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American crystal 120L
8 oz. Flaked barley
Mash: 40% efficiency
steeped grains for 30 min @ 155° in 5 gallons. Sparged with 5 gals nearly boiling.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.055 10 gallons
3.5 lb. Light malt extract
10.5 lb. Amber malt extract
Hops: 2 oz. Northern Brewer (6.5% AA, 75 min.)
1 oz. Northern Brewer (6.5% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Pilsner lager yeast
Log: Brewed 7/17/2005 fermented at ~60° F
Carbonation: 2.6 volumes Dried Malt Extract: 15.7 oz. for 10 gallons @ 65°F
