I have been trying to make an american wheat ale recipe and this is what i have so far.(its pretty good)

Beer: andrew's wheat Style: American Wheat
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
6 HCU (~5 SRM)
Bitterness: 11 IBU
OG: 1.045 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.5% v/v (3.5% w/w)
Water: boil enough tap water to make 5 gallons. do not use hard water. pour 3 1/2 gallons into fermenter.
Grain: 4 lb. American 2-row
5 lb. Wheat malt
Steep: steep the grains in 3 quarts of water for 30 minutes at 150° then rinse grain bags with 3 quarts of water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.150 1.5 gallons
2 lb. Light dry malt extract
bring the wort to a boil and add Perle then let boil for 30 minutes then add the Cascade. Wait 15 minutes then add the Tettnanger hops and continue to boil for another 15 minutes. pour cooled wort into fermenter with 3 1/2 gallons of cool previously boiled water.
Hops: .375 oz. Perle (8% AA, 60 min.)
.375 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 3333 german wheat yeast start by poping bubble in package 3 hours prior to use or until package swells. dump into fermenter after it has cooled down to room temperature.
Log: let fermentation happen in a dark place for about 10 days
Carbonation: bottle after fermentation has slowed to about 1 airlock bubble every 30 seconds or so. mix with 3/4 cup of corn sugar then bottle. let bottles sit in a dark place for about 16 days.
Tasting: pretty basic wheat beer, not very hoppy or malty, well balanced.
