Cheery Wheat

A very full tasting pinkish cherry wheat. Again, a great beer to have after mowing the lawn on a hot summer day!

10 HCU (~7 SRM)
Bitterness: 20 IBU
OG: 1.066 FG: 1.030
Alcohol: 4.7% v/v (3.7% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. Flaked wheat
Steep: Grains steeped until boil.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.111 3.0 gallons
7 lb. Light malt extract
8 oz. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Wheat extract
Hops: 2 oz. Hallertauer (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: White Labs American Hefeweizen WSP 320
At the time the yeast was pitched, I also added 4 lbs of cherry pie filling I bought from my local Giant Eagle bakery.

OG was 1062
FG was 1030
ABV was 4.2%, much lower than expected, which was around 6%?
Carbonation: 5 oz priming sugar
Tasting: Very refreshing and tasty cherry wheat, but not overpowering.
