A Wheat a Day

Just brewed this up on 9/4/04, it is hanging out in the secondary now, so I will update later to report quality

Beer: A Wheat a Day Style: American Wheat
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
6 HCU (~5 SRM)
Bitterness: 8 IBU
OG: 1.045 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.5% v/v (3.5% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. Wheat malt
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Combine the milled grains together in a nylon steeping bag, steep for 20 minutes in 2 gallons of water at 155°
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.112 2 gallons
3.52 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Wheat extract
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (3.1% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.0% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: White Labs Pitchable tube: Hefeweizen Ale Yeast (WLP300)
Log: Add wort to water in primary, bringing total volume to 5 gallons. Ferment at 70° in primary for 6-7 days, rack to secondary. Have not bottled yet, will give specific times at bottling
