Absolutely delicious Hefe-Dunkel!

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.25 gallons
Color:
87 HCU (~32 SRM)
Bitterness: 34 IBU
OG: 1.046 FG: 1.006
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Grain: 4 oz. American chocolate
4 oz. American black patent
8 oz. Roasted Wheat
Steep: Steep for 1 hour at 156°F and sparge with 3 gallons 170° water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.038 6.25 gallons
6 lb. Wheat extract
Hops: 1.5 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: Use White Labs Hefe Weizen Yeast or WYeast 3333 German Hefe Weizen Yeast.
Log: Rack to secondary for at least 2 weeks.
Tasting: This brew has a very smooth flavor and a nice dark color in cloudy weizen style!
