4 HCU (~4 SRM)
Bitterness: 15 IBU
OG: 1.058 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 6.4% v/v (5.1% w/w)
Water: Moderately soft water, boiled cooled and racked.
re-heated to strike temperature.
Grain: 2.96 lb. Lager Malt
4.43 lb. Wheat malt
Mash: 75% efficiency
Mash @ 152° F for 90min. Sparge.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.039 4.5 Imp. gal.
Hops: 15.6g Tettnager (3.0% AA, 90 min.)
7.0g Tettnager (3.0% AA, 30 min.)
10.5g Saaz (2.7% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Good quality lager yeast
Log: Ferment at 68° F. Rack after gravity dropped to quarter stage. cool ferment (<50F) in demijohns, bottle at 1.011
Carbonation: 4.2 volumes Keg: 25.7 psi @ 34°F
Cane Sugar: 135g for 2.4 Imp. gal. @ 62°F
