Herf'n Hefe

This is a nice Weizen that will suffer no unnecessary aging.
As usual a compatible spicy but mild cigar shall accompany this spring and summer beverage.

Color:
3 HCU (~3 SRM)
Bitterness: 13 IBU
OG: 1.052 FG: 1.120
Alcohol: -
Grain: 8 lb. German Pilsner
10 lb. Wheat malt
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 80% efficiency
Mash at 154 for 90 min.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.044 13 gallons
Irish Moss at 20 min.
Hops: 2 oz. Hallertauer (2.8% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Styrian Goldings (5.2% AA, 45 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 3068 was used with explosive blow-off fror 48 hours.
Log: Brewed 3/4/00. Fermented at 64-66 degrees and increased to 68 after 72 hours . Kegged and carbed after 8 days.
Carbonation: 4.0 volumes Keg: 29.9 psi @ 42°F
