OG: 1.043 FG: 1.014

Water: Rinse rice off several times with cold water before adding to the wort in a very fine mesh boiling bag.
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 60L
28 oz. Rice (Brown)
Steep: Place Crystal into the cold water in fine mesh boiling bag and when boiling starts, remove it.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.079 3 gallons
4 lb. Light malt extract
8 oz. Corn sugar
If desirable one teaspoon of Irish Moss can be added the last 15 minutes of boiling to give this beer a "European" flavor.
Hops: 1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Coopers is preferred.
Log: First fermentation container for five to seven days. Second fermentation container with one package of gelatin dissolved in it for seven to ten days due to the abundance of Rice particles. Store for at least two weeks before consuming. I always bottle my Beer in Quart bottles for convenience.
Tasting: This is a light, smooth tasting beer with a very unique enjoyable flavor all its own. My friends can not get enough of it!
