Grand Slam Beer -so good it's like hitting a homerun.

Type: Extract Size: 5.0 gallons
Color:
14 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 8 IBU
OG: 1.042 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 3.3% v/v (2.6% w/w)
Boil: 30 minutes SG 1.139 1.5 gallons
3 lb. 3 oz. Light malt extract
2 lb. 0 oz. Amber dry malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade pellets (6% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Cascade leaf (15 min.)
Yeast: 6 grams Muntons Dry
Log: added all extracts and pellet hops at time of boil then added leaf hops 1 minute before end of boil added 3 gallons cold water to fermenter then added mixture then added up to 5 gal added dry yeast stirring into fermenter 1 time with sanitized spoon primary fermentation was 7 days secondary 9 days
Carbonation: 5 oz priming sugar mixed with 1 cup boiling water for 1 minute added to fermenter just before transer to bottling bucket
Tasting: tasted smooth and sweet after 2 weeks likely 2 get better within another 1-2 weeks
