OG: 1.055 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 5.5% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Water: I used distilled water and did not treat it. Soft water is best for this style.
Grain: 9.5 lb. Moravian Pilsener Malt
10 oz. 2°L Crystal Malt
3 oz. German Munich
Mash: 71% efficiency
Single infusion
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.055 5 gallons
Irish Moss when 20 minutes remained
Hops: 3.25 oz. Saaz (3.9% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.9% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.9% AA, 1 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (Dry Hopped) (aroma)
Yeast: White Labs 800
Log: Primary at 50°F (5 days)
Diacetyl Rest at 62°F (2 days)
Secondary at 43°F (11 days)
Lager at 35°F (2.5 weeks)
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Keg: 12.3 psi @ 40°F
Tasting: Pretty darn good. A little more flavor hops (15 minute) next time.
