250g British chocolate
250g Roasted barley
250g Flaked barley
Mash: 70% efficiency
lautering tun got blocked ... lots of movement in and out (cooling down effect) before I set up the grain bed for lautering!
did it change a thing...? probably more than one...!
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.028 7 Imp. gal.
irish moss (2 table spoon 5 minutes before turning off the burner
Hops: 51.5g Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
50g Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: Safale dried S04
Log: 7 days in primary
7 days in secondary
Carbonation: primed with glucose (100g)
Tasting: to early for a complete judgement...
caramel / chocolate well balanced by bitterness
not as dark as shown on page!
