I brewed this one for Memorial Day 2007 party- Very popular with the everyone-even my hops hating wife! Very middle of the road, refreshing beer. Great session beer that is flavorful.

Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
13 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 20 IBU
OG: 1.048 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: Portland hose water (pretty soft) treated with campden and sits overnight.
Grain: 9 lb. 12 oz. American 2-row
12.8 oz. American Munich
6.4 oz. American victory
1.6 oz. American chocolate
Mash: 65% efficiency
Single infusion at 152°F for 60 minutes. Sparge to reach 7 gallons in the pot.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.040 6.5 gallons
Irish Moss at 15 minutes left.
Hops: .9 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056 starter-my "house yeast" from previous batches. Washed, then started in 2L Flask.
Log: To brew again Late Feb '08 for Spring Break.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes.
Tasting: This is a great beer for everyone to enjoy. One friend who does not like microbrews, loves this one.
