Lawnmower's Friend

I made this ale twice before I posted it. It's a little high for the style, but it's real good cold after a hot day mowing the lawn. I bottled this in 20 oz Flip cap bottles, that way I get just the right amount to quench my thirst. This is a simple recipe that tastes great.

Beer: Lawnmower's Friend Style: Kölsch
Type: Extract Size: 5 gallons
Color:
9 HCU (~7 SRM)
Bitterness: 25 IBU
OG: 1.058 FG: 1.044
Alcohol: 1.9% v/v (1.5% w/w)
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.058 5 gallons
6 lb. 8 oz. Light dry malt extract
Put the aroma hops in in the last 5 minutes. Cool and strain into Primary. Top off to 5 gallons
Hops: .5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.75 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Spalt (6.75% AA, 15 min.)
.25 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (aroma)
.5 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: Whitelabs WLP029 - Greman Kolsch Ale
Log: Primary stage one week, rack to secondary for one week. I prime with 1 1/2 cups light dry malt boiled in 1 quart of water (cool in ice bath). Bottle and let sit 2 weeks.
Tasting: It's best cold and a real thisrt quencher!
