10 HCU (~7 SRM)
Bitterness: 21 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.006
Alcohol: 6.1% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Water: I used fiji water and a 7 pound bag of ice
Grain: 2 lb. crisp marris otter
1 lb. durst Munich
Steep: steep grains in 1 and a half gallons of water at 150 deg. for 30 min. sparge grains with 1 gallon of 150 deg. bring this to a boil and then add extract.
Boil: 1hr15min minutes SG 1.089 3 gallons
6 lb. Light malt extract
I used a pinch of Irish moss
Hops: 1.0 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: I used san fransico lager yeast fermented at 65
