Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.149 2 gallons
7 lb. Light malt extract
.5 lb. Crystal Malt
Hops: .66 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.66 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 40 min.)
.68 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 20 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast California Lager
Carbonation: 3/4 Cup Corn Sugar
Tasting: During this batch I learned that hop bags and hop pellets should not
be used together. The beer was wonderful, but it had very little
of the bitternes that it should have had. I can hardly wait for fall
and my basement to cool down so I can brew this again.
