OG: 1.052 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Water: 5 Tsp gypsum added to 3 gals water.
Grain: 5.5 lb. American 2-row
7 lb. German Vienna
0.25 lb. Roasted barley
Mash: 70% efficiency
Add 3 gals 200 °F water to crushed grains Keep temp at approximately 150°F for 2 hrs.
Sparge with 5 gals 170°F water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.064 12 gallons
3.5 lb. Light malt extract
7.5 lb. Honey
Add Malt extract, boil 10 mins. Add Northen Brewer hops.
Boil 35 mins. Add Hallertauer hops. Add 3 Tbs Irish Moss.
Boil 15 mins. Turn off heat. Add Hallertauer hops and honey.
Cool to 70°F.Pitch yeast
Hops: 3 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
2 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: #1087 Wyeast Ale Blend 80 ml. Smack pack 3 days prior. No starter.
