Bitterness: 10 IBU
OG: 1.045 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.6% v/v (3.6% w/w)
Water: Good old bottled water, the only kind safe to drink down there!
Grain: 9 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American crystal 20L
Mash: 68% efficiency
Infusion at 148° for 60 minutes, 10 at 168°, sparge for ninety minutes.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.038 6.5 gallons
Irish moss at the start of the boil.
Hops: .5 oz. Mt. Hood (3.5% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Mt. Hood (3.5% AA, 20 min.)
.25 oz. Mt. Hood (3.5% AA, 7 min.)
Yeast: One pack of SAFLager and 1g. of pastuer champagne (for higher attenuation).
Log: Primary 14 days @55°, secondary at 35 for a month.
Carbonation: 2.8 volumes Keg: 24.3 psi @ 55°F
Carbonated in the keg to 2.8 volumes to allow for some loss when I bottled.
Tasting: Good for what it is, goes down easy, nice and smooth.
