8 HCU (~6 SRM)
Bitterness: 19 IBU
OG: 1.051 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 4.7% v/v (3.7% w/w)
Water: Hard
Grain: 8 oz. Weyerman Carafoam
8 oz. Weyerman Light Munich
Steep: Add 2 gallons cold water to boiling kettle, bag and add crushed grains. Bring almost to boil and steep 30 minutes @ appx.160° DO NOT LET BOIL.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.127 2 gallons
4 lb. Alexander Pale Malt Extract
2 lb. Laaglander Light DME
1 lb. Muntons Plain Wheat
Irish Moss @ 15 minutes to end of boil.
Spalt hops at three minutes to end of boil.
Hops: 2 oz. Tetnanger (4.9% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Spalt (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast Kolsch 2565 (Smackpack)
Carbonation: 1 cup corn sugar into bottling bucket.
