Alcohol: 5.4% v/v (4.2% w/w)
Grain: 12 lb. American 2-row
.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 55% efficiency
Mashed at 150° F until it passed the iodine test(90 minutes).
Recipe based on a 50% efficiency.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.042 6 gallons
Added irish moss at begining of boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 90 min.)
2 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 15 min.)
2 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: Used WYEAST 2007 Pilsner
Log: Fermented at 50°F.
Primary 1 week.
Secondary 4 weeks.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Dried Malt Extract: 6.03 oz. for 5 gallons @ 50°F
