My first attempt at a Northern AZ brewers Brown Ale clone.

50 HCU (~22 SRM)
Bitterness: 35 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 5.7% v/v (4.4% w/w)
Water: All water is RO
Grain: 24 lb. American 2-row
3.5 lb. British crystal 70-80L
.5 lb. American chocolate
2 lb. Gambrinis Honey malt
2.5 oz. American Black Patent
Mash: 65% efficiency
Mash in at 165°F to rest for 1 hour at 153-155°F. Check for conversion & mash out at 168°F.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.054 13 gallons
1 tablespoon of Irish Moss last 15 min. of boil.
Hops: 3 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: 1/2 gal starter of White Labs WLP001 California Ale.
Tasting: Looking for a malty, nutty, slightly sweet Brown Ale.
