* American Brown

Color:
43 HCU (~20 SRM)
Bitterness: 26 IBU
OG: 1.054 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 5.5% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Water: For 12 gallons:
1.5 tsp CaCl
1.0 tsp Carbonate
0.5 tsp Gypsum
AT BOIL 0.5 tsp Non-Iodized
Grain: 16 lb. British pale
1 lb. American victory
2 lb. American crystal 60L
.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 lb. American chocolate
Mash: 90% efficiency
150F for 40 min
Recirculated mash up to 154 for 30
Then up to 164 to mash out
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.045 15 gallons
0 lb. Maple syrup
2 tsp Irish Moss in 12 gallons
Hops: 1 oz. Fuggles (4% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (8% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Northern Brewer (8.7% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: White Labs Platinum Klassic - 033 (2 liter starter)
&
White Labs California - 001 (2 liter starter)
Log: Used pump for vorlaf recirculation
Efficiency thru the roof at 90%!!!
