Brown Cat Ale

This is a simple Brown ale Recipe that I threw together with left overs from other brews.
The boil time is 60 minutes

Beer: Brown Cat Ale Style: American Brown
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
50 HCU (~22 SRM)
Bitterness: 39 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.5% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Grain: 8 oz. Belgian biscuit
16 oz. American crystal 40L
5 oz. American chocolate
Steep: The Grains were steeped for 30 mins at around 160 degrees
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.053 5 gallons
6 lb. 8 oz. Amber malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Liberty (aroma)
Yeast: AN Wyeast American Ale was used 1056 I think
Carbonation: This batch was bottled, 5 oz of corn sugar was used
Tasting: For the simplicity of the recipe a very pleasing beer was made, Great for those hot summer days
