Hazelnut Brown Ale

After a couple of trys, I think I've finaly have it perfected. Everone loves it.

Beer: Hazelnut Brown Ale Style: English Brown
Type: Partial mash Size: 5 gallons
Color:
16 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 19 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 5.2% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Water: I used regular old spring water.
Grain: 3 lb. .5 oz. American 2-row
.5 oz. American crystal 60L
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
.5 oz. British chocolate
Mash: 80% efficiency
1 tsp of gypsum. Mashed at 150° for 1 hour. Went to 160° for 15 minuets.

Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.076 3.5 gallons
4 lb. Amber malt extract
1 tsp gypsum (use during mash)
1 16oz bottle of hazelnut syrup (last 15 min of boil)
1 tsp irish moss (15 min from end.)
2 botteles of Noriette Hazelnut essence (boil in with priming sugar at botteling)
Hops: 1.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (aroma)
Yeast: Use Wyeast American or British ale strains.
Log: Did a secondary ferment. Let it sit in the bottles for a month.
Carbonation: 1.9 volumes Corn Sugar: 2.86 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F
Tasting: If you remember LongShot then that's what it taste like. If you don't like it so sweet, take out the syrup at boil.
