Water: All water is RO with 1 Tbs. Burton salts
Grain: 24 lb. Briess Anviversary Malt 2-row
3.5 lb. British crystal 70-80L
6 oz. British chocolate
2.5 oz. British black patent
2 lb. Gambrinus Honey Malt
Mash: 77% efficiency
Mashed in at 165°F to rest at 152°-154°F for 1 hour. Check for conversion & mash out at 168°F.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.056 14 gallons
Used 1 tsp. Allfloc last 15 min. of boil. Had large flakes of break material in fermenters
Hops: 2 oz. Kent Goldings (6.9% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Kent Goldings (6.9% AA, 15 min.)
2 oz. Kent Goldings (6.9% AA, 2 min.)
Yeast: Big starter of Wyeast 1056 American Ale Yeast proivded by Greg
