Grain: .5 lb. British crystal 135-165L
.25 lb. British chocolate
Steep: Step grain 45 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.169 1.5 gallons
6.6 lb. Amber malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Mutons brewers yeast
Carbonation: Dry Amber malt extract @ 1 1/4 cup per 5 gal.
Tasting: If you like Sam Adams American Brown Ale you will love this brew
