Big Al's Mild

Converted from an extract recipe from Al Korzonas.
(Basically, an excuse to brew a quick batch using
some fresh Crisp Maris Otter.)

Bitterness: 29 IBU
OG: 1.038 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 3.9% v/v (3.0% w/w)
Grain: 6.5 lb. Crisp Maris Otter
4 oz. British crystal 50-60L
4 oz. Belgian chocolate
Mash: 72% efficiency
Medium to low mash temperature-- 150-153°F.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.032 6 gallons
Irish Moss last 10 minutes of boil.
Hops: 1.75 oz. Fuggles (4.0% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Something British.
Carbonation: Low carbonation.
